What readers are saying about Legends of the Black Orchid:
Friendship knows no nationality. "Legends of the Black Orchid" is the story of Tiggy and Hans, an Englishman and a German who find their friendship strained by the oncoming first World War. Through events, they find themselves on opposite sides of the field and then surviving the war, they find they're part of something greater, a union of elite families that makes their purpose bigger than national pride. "Legends of the Black Orchid" is a riveting thriller not to be missed.

Well done. A good read blending fact and fiction into a really good tale, enjoyed it all the way through. Wouln't be suprised if the blue eyed blond haired small boy living in Enfield turns out to be a tearaway up to all sorts of adventures !

I started the book the night I got it. I could not put it down. The characters and the locations were so descriptive that I thought I was there. The actual history only added to the intrigue of The Legend of the Black Orchid. I cannot wait until the next book.

Having just finished your new book, Legends of the Black Orchid, I thought I'd drop you a note to let you know how much I enjoyed it.
I read a lot of historical fiction and I found your book to be a real "page turner" - I stayed up some nights way too late reading because I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next.
I found the character development to be very interesting and the twists and turns kept me in suspense - I had real trouble trying to determine truth from fiction [which is a good thing]. Was there really such a secret society? Was there really a secret "Treaty" in the works? Who was really trying to double-cross who?
I can't wait for a sequeland the movie. Best wishes for the future.

The Black Orchid is the most unique take on the events leading up to World War II that I've ever read. Your style is as riveting as Tom Clancy's without the minutia. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and could not put it down. It will make a great film. Now, I want the rest of the story!!!
